Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens having following eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector/Sub-Inspectress(Unarmed  Branch)  and  Sergeant in Kolkata Police -2021, Govt. of West Bengal. ✅ELIGIBILITY :- 

a) The applicant must be a citizen of India. 

AGE :- b) The applicant must not be less than 20(Twenty) years old and must not be more than 27 (Twenty Seven)years old as on 01.01.2021. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates of West Bengal only. 

 
✅Educational Qualification :- The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.

✅Language :- The applicant must be able to speak, read and write Bengali Language. However, this provision will not be applicable to persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.

✅Pay Scale:- Pay Scale of Level-10 in the pay matrix(Rs. 32,100-Rs.82,900).

1. Preliminary Exam ( 200 Marks)
2. Physical Measurement Test
3. Physical Efficiency Test
4. Main/Final Exam ( 200 Marks : 3 Paper)

✅HOW TO APPLY:- Application Forms may be submitted through on-line or off-line modes during the period from 19.07.2021 (00:00 hrs.) to 19.08.2021(5 PM).

The last date of receipt of filled in Application Form through postal services (for off-line applicants) is 19.08.2021 (5 PM).
