Name of the post:- LIBRARIAN IN GOVERNMENT COLLEGES

Total Vacancy:- 26 (Twenty Six)

Age Limit as On (01/01/2019):- Upto 40 Years (Age relaxation is applicable as per govt. norms)

Pay Scale- Rs.15,600–39,100 plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000 and allowances.

Educational Qualification:-

1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record.

2. Proficiency, spoken and written, in Bengali & English are required for all Colleges except Banarhat Hindi College for which proficiency in Hindi & English are required.
