The Staff Selection Commission(SSC) will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) /Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India. 

The details of the examination are as under:-

1) Lower Divisional Clerk(LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant(JSA)

Scale Of Pay: Pay  Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay:Rs. 1900 (pre-revised)

2) Postal Assistant(PA)/Sorting Assistant(SA)

Scale Of Pay:
Pay Band-1(Rs. 5200-20200),Grade Pay:Rs.2400(pre-revised)

3) Data Entry Operator(DEO)

Scale Of Pay: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay:Rs.2400(pre-revised)

4) Data Entry Operator,Grade "A‟ 

 Scale Of Pay: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay:Rs.2400 (pre-revised).

Age Limit:

 Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years as on 01-08-2019(i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1992 and not later than 01-08-2001).

Upper Age Limit Relaxation:-  SC/ST 05 Years, OBC 03 Years, PWD 10 Years & Others as per Govt Rules.

Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2019):

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO: The candidates must have passed 12th Class Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Class Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Selection Process:

The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Skill Test/ Typing Test(Tier-III) for the post of Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) & Lower Division Clerk (LDC).

Fee payable: Rs 100/- for OBC &UR (General) Candidtaes.Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan

application fee is exempted for all women candidates and SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation,as per Govt. orders.
